Weather:

Foehn winds are going to be the story of the day with 60km/h coming through the Solaise this morning and gusts of 80 to 130km/h expected this afternoon. Temperatures will be warm with maximums of 12° at 2000m and 3° at 3000m. Some clouds will begin to move in over the Italian border and could bring some light rain or snowfall with them.

Tonight those clouds could drop between 20 and 30cm of fresh snow on the glacer while tomorrow looks to be fairly sunny, so it looks like we could be enjoying a bluebird powder day on the 30th of April!

Ski Report :

Snow Depth : 70cm of snow on the snowfront, 199cm on top of the Solaise.

Fornet: Everything is open except Cognon which is closed for the season.

Pissaillas Glacier: Everything is open. Combe du Geant will close early due to avalanche risk.

Solaise: Everything is open.

Bellvarde: G, Snow Park, the Boarder Cross, Criterium, Raye, Lanches, and the Stade Semanmille are closed.

The links to Tignes, the Tommeuses and Borsat chairlifts, are open.

Cross-Country: Laisinant, the big loop of the Manchet, and La Daille are closed for the season. Everything else is open

Walking Paths: Everything is open except Le Daille.

The avalanche risk is 3 out of 5 today. If you do decide to head off-piste, please ensure you have all the necessary safety equipment as well as the proper experience and training. Also please stay off closed pistes as they are closed for a reason, quite often due to a risk of avalanche coming in from the slopes above.
