We had a cold clear start to the day, with a steaming Isère river providing proof of just how chilly it was in town. Whilst temperatures will stay relatively low all day, with maximums of -3°C at 2000m and -8°C at 3000m, we are actually going to get a healthy dose of sunshine this morning, before the weather takes a turn and the snowclouds return and start dumping down the white stuff from around half 8pm this evening. By tomorrow morning, we're predicted somewhere between 15 and 25cm of fresh snow and 10 to 20cm more tomorrow during the day. Unfortunately, as with the last dump of snow, winds will pick up and blow the snow around a fair bit. It won't be quite the gale force winds of last weekend, but gusts of up to 80km/h can still be expected overnight.

Ski Report

All pistes in the Bellevarde sector are open today, except Triffolet, Lanches, the Snow Park, Santons and Epaule de Charvet.

The Tommeuses chairlift is open, allowing access to Val Claret and Tignes Le Lac.

The Laisinant chairlift has opened for the first time today, so the traversée du Laisinant is open allowing access back to the snowfront.

All pistes are open today apart from Combe Martin, S, L, Arcelle and Marmottons and the beginner piste, Stade Legettaz.

The Signal draglift has opened for the first time today, alongside the Arollay run. Table d'Orientation is under preparation and will probably open tomorrow.

Everything else is open except Foret and Cognon, meaning Mangard is the only option to the bottom.

Over on the Pisaillas Glaciers all pistes will open except for Cascade.

The Avalanche Risk is 3 today. Please ensure you have the proper equipment and training before heading off-piste and know exactly where you're going.

Walking Routes

All paths are open except Les Sources and Joseray.

Cross Country Tracks

The big loop of Lac d'Ouilette and the small loop of the Manchet valley have opened up for the first time today. That adds to the small loop of the Lac d'Ouilette, which was already open.
