The dawn sky was perfectly clear this morning, but after an hour or two of sunshine a fresh layer of clouds will start to move in. During the afternoon, this covering will get thicker and some light snow is forecast for the end of the day, with the snowline at around 2000m, so sadly Val village may be in for some more sleet. At 2500m however, there should be a good 5 to 15cm layer on the ground by tomorrow morning. Temperatures remain warmer than usual for this time of year, with maximums of 3 to 6°C at 2000m and -1°C at 3000m. Meanwhile the North Westerly wind, whilst calm down in the valley, remains violent at altitude, blowing at 70 to 100km/h between 3000 and 3500m.

Ski Report


All pistes in the Bellevarde sector are open today, except Triffolet, Lanches, Santons, Epaule de Charvet and The Boarder Cross.

The Small and Medium kickers in the Snowpark are open. If visibility deteriorates the Park generally has to close.

The Tommeuses chairlift and is open, allowing access to Val Claret and Tignes Le Lac.


L and Marmottons will stay closed.


Everything is open except Cognon.

Over on the Pisaillas Glaciers, Combe du Geant remains closed due to avalanche risk. Everything else is open.


The Avalanche Risk is 3 today. Please ensure you have the proper equipment and training before heading off-piste and know exactly where you're going.

Walking Routes

The paths to choose from are the Col d'Iseran, Laisinant-Fornet, Lac d'Ouilette, Manchet and Le Daille. The others are closed.

Cross Country Tracks

Both loops of the Ouilette lake and the small loop of the Manchet Valley are open. Everything else is closed.
